Candle Care
How to take care of your candles:
When you light a candle for the first time, let it burn for a while. Allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter of your candle on the first burn.
Ensure your candles burn evenly:
If you do not let your candle burn all the way to the edges, then a memory ring will form. The wax will remember where it was last burnt up, and that’s how tunneling occurs.
Wooden wick candle care:
If you want a clean, even burn, make sure your candle’s wick is the right length. This might require some trimming.
We recommend to use a wick trimmer to cut your wick down before lighting each time. If you don’t own a wick trimmer, use a pair of sharp scissors and trim vertically.
Do not cut too-short because it can get lost in a sea of melted wax and fail to light.
